Corianderor taqda is an annual herbaceous plant that belongs to the Apiaceae family.
It is known in Egypt and Iraq as coriander, in Libya as coriander, in Morocco as coriander, and in Algeria as coriander or dabsha.
1- It activates pancreatic cells: it regulates the secretion of insulin in the blood, thus preventing diabetes.
2-Activates liver cells.
3- Soothing the nerves.
4- It stimulates the appetite, especially if used in table appetizers.
5- It treats the conjunctiva of the eye, because of its sterilizing properties.
6- It helps people who suffer from nosebleeds, or so-called nosebleeds.
7-Activates the immune system.
8- It helps in cases of high blood pressure. Therefore, it is not recommended for those who suffer from low blood pressure to eat coriander in quantities equivalent to those who do not suffer from this problem
9- Coriander has the ability to get rid of toxic metals in the human body, such as mercury, which is considered one of the metals that most causes cancer, weak bones, kidney and liver disease, brain deterioration, heart disease, and lung disease.
10- It relieves colic pain, soothes the stomach and intestines, and also helps those who suffer from indigestion.
An important note: A woman who is trying to become pregnant must abstain from eating coriander because it prevents pregnancy.
